In 2020, Forrest co-founded Phantasticus Pictures — the only production company in the world that actively finances wildlife conservation efforts in exchange for filming rights. Since its inception, he has gone on to produce and host Discovery Channel's Mysterious Creatures and Vice's Wet Markets Exposed.
SHARK WEEK
Forrest has hosted several specials on Discovery Channel's Shark Week, taking him from the glacial waters of Alaska to the most biodiverse region of ocean in the Coral Sea. As a divemaster, freediver, and armed with an intimate knowledge of marine biology, Forrest has brought an excitement and unrivaled sense of adventure to these underwater productions.
MYSTERIOUS CREATURES
In 2021, Forrest traveled across the planet for the production of his new series, Mysterious Creatures. In this series, Forrest turned his sights towards better protecting human-wildlife conflict and searching for the biological explanations behind local wildlife legends—all in an effort to promote the conservation of these species before they go extinct.

EXTINCT OR ALIVE
From 2017 to 2019 Galante was the host of Animal Planet’s hit show Extinct or Alive. Using his unique skill set to search for evidence that animals declared distinct may still be out there—he termed the series the most meaningful television work he has ever done as it combines education with conservation and adventure with wildlife.
Over the course of its two seasons, Forrest and his team captured evidence of EIGHT species previously thought to be extinct, encountered countless rare and spectacular animals, and created a massive platform to promote wildlife conservation across the planet.
